Pt. 3 City of Basketball Love underclass exposure camp

Jordan Diggs 6’2” ’21 Elmer L. Meyers HS (Wilkes Barre, PA) – Diggs was one of 4 PG’s on his camp team and he may have been the first one to get the ball into the post to Allyson Amadou after his tremendous put back slam but that should not factor into his game too much as he was making nice feeds all game long to open teammates. He has a solid handle and can take on pressure defenses with guile and good floor vision. He didn’t hunt shots but took them in the flow of the game and he had nice form on his outside shot and good body control when venturing to the basket. As a passer he did take some chances on risky feeds but for the most part made decent decisions with smart passes that were on the money. He was a decent rebounder from the guard position angling inside from the weakside to grab quite a few boards and he brought some physicality to the court on defense using his solid frame to body up opponents and steer them away from the middle of the floor as well as being quick enough to grab a few steals or deflect some passes with good anticipation and some little savvy play.  high school basketball fans will get at least one more opportunity to see Spring Grove standout Eli Brooks compete on the hardwood.
